Description

Monsoon rains can have an enormous impact in Southern Asia. While the rains can help agriculture, it can also cause extreme flooding. Satellite data can augment decision support for flood warnings, responses, relief, and mitigation activities. This two-day training covers access and use of satellite imagery and data to inform flood-related decisions. Attendees will learn to access and analyze data. This will enable attendees to track and map flooding, assess affected areas, and learn how they can integrate satellite data into their own decision-making processes.
