Innovation Now, a NASA-supported radio broadcast features the Disasters program areas' Sang-Ho Yun. He shares how NASA uses Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar or "InSAR” to detect changes caused by disaster events such as earthquakes and floods. Yun is part of the Advanced Rapid Imaging Analysis (ARIA) project at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which works with the Disasters program area to create maps that aid decision-makers in response efforts around the globe.
The Innovation Now series reaches more than 27 million listeners worldwide each day. It is broadcast via public, college and commercial radio stations and is available for mobile devices through various podcast apps, smart speakers, and streaming platforms.
