AppSci Week

In an era of global challenges and uncertainty, what is NASA doing to make our home planet a better place?

For the past 20 years, scientists, collaborators, decision-makers, and interns at NASA’s Applied Sciences Program have brought data down to Earth to solve our planet’s most pressing issues. Earth Science Applications Week is our largest annual event dedicated to celebrating this work, and you are invited to learn and collaborate with us this week!

From August 9-12, we invite scientists, decision-makers, students, and friends of NASA to join in the celebration with four days of scientific presentations, flash talks, VIP speakers, panel discussions, demonstrations, and networking opportunities.

Following a kick-off session and user panel on Monday, the program will begin each day by highlighting diverse topics in Earth science, from boosting disaster readiness to ensuring food security. Tuesday and Wednesday will include parallel sessions including a career panel, flash talks, and highlight presentations, while Monday and Thursday will end with networking opportunities that are open to all! For the second year, this event will be completely virtual.

Register to attend this free event and view a complete agenda on the event site.

We look forward to celebrating 20 years of Applied Sciences with you!
