Lia N. Poteet

Driven by a passion for science and its capacity to improve lives, Lia Poteet brings creativity and sharp communications strategy as a writer on NASA’s Applied Sciences Communications Team.

With a background in climate communications, Lia specializes in storytelling to engage new audiences and working across teams to build long-term narratives. She has coordinated state and national organizations to arm partners with the data, language and tools to implement a media outreach strategy in targeted and localized campaigns.

Lia holds a BS in Political Science and BA in History from Appalachian State University. She loves soccer, hiking, and music in all forms.
